Bio

I graduated from Georgia College and State University with a degree in Biology in 2005. I worked for five years as a Wildlife Educator and an Environmental Education Specialist, where I taught about Georgia's wildlife through live animal programming and demonstrations. I worked for the Georgia DNR, Southeastern Natural Science Academy, and Rock Eagle 4-H center. In 2009, I graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Masters in the Art of Teaching and began my career as a Science teacher. I started my journey at Georgia College Early College in Milledgeville, GA where I taught four sciences (Biology, Physical Science, Chemistry, and Environmental Science). I moved to Warner Robins in 2013 where I was hired at Houston County High School. Since being at HCHS, I have taught: Biology, Honors Biology, Anatomy, and AP Biology. I am married and have a 5 year daughter.
