Mrs. Bess began her teaching career in 2001 at Bert Rumble/Huntington Middle School. After 20 years of teaching middle school, Mrs. Bess is excited to embark on the journey of teaching high school. Mrs. Bess obtained her bachelors degree from Georgia College and State University, her masters from Columbus State University, and her specialist from Valdosta State University. She is also currently working on her doctorate with Columbus State University. Mrs. Bess is married to a fellow educator, Mr. Perry Bess, who currently teaches at Huntington Middle School. In her free time, Mrs. Bess enjoys reading mysteries, spending relaxing time outdoors, singing, playing the piano, and spending time with family!

At the age of 16 years old, Mrs. Bess received the calling to become a teacher. She is grateful and blessed to have the privilege of touching lives, making a difference, and helping others grow.
