Coach Tignor is a product of the Houston County School System, graduating from Northside High School in 2014. He obtained a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology, from Kennesaw State University. He would later attend Middle Georgia State University, obtaining a Master's of Arts in Teaching. 

Coach Tignor started teaching at Houston County High School in 2020 - 2021. He currently serves as the Assistant Coach for both the Varsity Girls and the Varsity Boys Soccer teams. Coach Tignor's educational objective and teaching philosophy: "I want to help students learn how to look at evidence, form an understanding, and provide them the fundamentals to solve problems. I strive to make science fun and approachable for students, while helping them connections on how science is a part of their everyday lives."
