Jennifer Bowers is originally from Byron, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in International Studies and a minor in French. To become an educator, she pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching French degree from Georgia College and State University and studied abroad at the Institut de Touraine in Tours, France. In 2022, she earned her doctorate in Curriculum Studies at Georgia Southern University. She currently teaches  French 2 and AP French and co-sponsors the French Club and French Honor Society. When not teaching, Dr. Bowers enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband Alan, their three children, and the family pets.
