With more than 20 years of experience in education, my primary focuses have been American Literature, AP Language and Composition, and AP Literature and Composition. I am a graduate of Berry College majoring in journalism and writing with minors in business management and graphic design. My advanced degrees include a Master's of Education Quality Schools from Graceland University and a Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. I am certified in Gifted/Talented instruction, AP Language and Composition, AP Literature and Composition, and Interrelated Instruction.

I have been married to my husband, Stacey, for 25 years, and we have two children and three grandchildren. I am also committed to pet rescue and currently have three dogs and eleven cats who live together on our farm.
