Bio

Hello! I am Brittany Tolleson and I am a Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) Teacher and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Adviser at Houston County High School. I have been teaching FACS and serving as an FCCLA Adviser at HCHS for four years. My degrees include: Associate of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College; Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Major in Consumer Journalism from The University of Georgia; Masters of Education in Adult and Career Education from Valdosta State University. In addition to teaching, I am currently working on obtaining my Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. Family and Consumer Sciences is truly my passion having once been a FACS student in high school, as well as a State President for Georgia FCCLA. In 2019 I was recognized nationally as an FCCLA Master Adviser and selected to be a part of LEAD CTAE. I have been married for nearly five years to Tripp Tolleson, Agriculture Education Teacher at Warner Robins Middle School.
