Online- World History Textbook with Powerpoints

This is the "Honors world History Textbook", but the information is very similar to the regular World History Textbook.  The Regular World History Textbook is not available for free online.

The good thing about this site, is that is has the same Power-Points that a I use in class- with some slight modifications.  So in a pinch, this site is a good resource to read, look at maps, charts, vocabulary and content; along with viewing Powerpoints that you might have missed or want to review for a quiz or test.

Course Syllabus for HONORS WORLD HISTORY

Hello Parent of Honors World History students!

Well, we are off to a great school year!  Infinite Campus is open as of today August 17.  We have been notified that textbooks will be isued as soon as possible, but until then, classroom instruction will ocntinue with supplemental readings.  Also, the week of August 24th world History students will be taking a "Pre-Assessment" or Pre-SLO" test.  This is a baseline asessment and will not affect your students grade.  In the Spring the SLO or Student Learning Objective test will be administered, this will count as 20% of your students grade.

I will be posting a copy of the Honors world History syllabus. I will be sending home a copy of it with a signature page this week.  Open House is set for Monday the 24th hopefully we can talk person to person then.  Thank you for all of the support that you have extended so far. Your students are a delight and have been working diligently.

Sincerely,

Maureen Martin
